What we're about

Established in 1954, the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce (MOACC) is over 150 business members strong. Programming and event support are made possible by members volunteering their time and efforts to promote and grow the local business community. The MOACC focuses on issues relevant to our chamber membership.

The Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce (MOACC) provides two main events each month. Our programming & events are open to all local area businesses and guests are always welcome to attend. Our events include business networking, educational meetings, and chamber member events. Pricing for each of these programs varies depending on the venue with discounted pricing for MOACC members and pre-registration. Non-Member & walk-up is slightly higher.

The Business Builder Workshop Series are educational events designed to provide new and established businesses access to quality subject matter with experts on topics that will help them achieve their business goals.

Marketing in the Morning (MIM) is a business networking event to support the development of your professional network and to help promote your expertise and business capabilities among local business professionals.

Our core Chamber member events bring membership together 4 times per year. These events are Breakfast with the Mayors, Business and Humanitarian Awards, Oliver Awards, and our Annual Holiday Party.

Among the benefits chamber members receive are Member 2 Member deals and discounts from other chamber members, listing in a member directory, and a variety of other programs and services designed to promote business activity in a region.

Business Builders Series - How to Find and Target Potential Clients

This is a virtual event and you must register to attend. Click here to Register: https://bit.ly/3jtX2RW Finding new clients has always been an important activity for small businesses - it's even more crucial today, in these unprecedented times. Whether we like it or not, traditional methods for finding new clients (Yellow Pages, TV ads, etc.) have become less effective since the advent of the internet. In this virtual, interactive panel discussion we'll explore both the "new" world of attracting new clients online and the traditional methods that still work to bring in results. Moderator: John Tully - owner of Delta Strategic Marketing, a digital marketing agency based in NW New Jersey. John has worked for and with small businesses for the whole of his working life – in a variety of roles from technical management (VP-level) through sales and marketing as Product, Business Development and Marketing Managers. He understands small business and what makes them tick – what they need and what they don't to have successful marketing campaigns. Panelists: Dan Hirshberg, President of CHP Communications, is an award-winning publicist, journalist and editor, having spent many years in the newspaper and magazine field, in both news and sports. He has also been on radio and Cable TV. As a public relations specialist, he has worked on projects for an assortment of regional and national retail, manufacturing, education, healthcare, sports and leisure businesses, and has helped promote and coordinate dozens of music festivals and scores of special events, from comedy shows to major fundraisers. With Dan's assistance, fundraisers for non-profit organizations have raised nearly a million dollars. He is also the author of five books including Phil Rizzuto: A Yankee Tradition. He has served on the boards of many non-profits over the years and remains active in an assortment of community-based programs. Jeremy Skillings has been helping small and mid-sized businesses with search engine marketing since 2006 through his company, You Can Be Found. Jeremy is a regular attendee and former speaker at leading industry conferences like SMX Advanced and Local Search University Advanced, speaker at many NJ and NYC networking groups, events, and seminars, an A+ BBB business, and an all-around good guy, Jeremy can help your business get found through search. Jeremy's flexible programs can help teach you how to fish or do all the fishing for you, but no matter what you are doing in search, he can help you get it done right.
