What we're about

The MOMS ("MOMS Offering Moms Support") Club of the Antelope Valley (formerly the MOMS Club of Palmdale) is a local chapter of MOMs Club International, a 501 (c) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mothers and children worldwide. Our group has both SAHM (stay at home moms) and moms who work outside the home.

We offer a variety of enriching activities that include:

• monthly members meetings, park play days, community events,

• field trips, age-specific playgroups, holiday activities and arts & crafts

In addition to kids' festivities, we also offer special interest activities:

• moms book club, family get-togethers,

• coffee and conversation,

• as well as a monthly "Moms Night Out"!

Becoming a member is a great way to meet other moms, while watching our children make new friends, and to share in the experience of parenting.

Anyone can join this wonderful group. Those interested in becoming members can view the page and see the meetup headings and see the variety of events we do. If you are interested in joining this great club we do ask that you attend a few public events to meet the members of the group and return the completed membership package with payment to a board member.

The meetups that are listed on the calendar range from home playdates, park activities, crafts, to community events and much more. They can be hosted by any member of the group, at the venue and time of the hosts choice. To protect the privacy of our moms and their children, we limit access to the Meetup group to non-members. Not everyone will be interested in the same things but we are confident that there will be many events that peak your interest and will work for you and your child's schedule.

In addition, each year we choose a local charity to support. We have fundraisers throughout the year to help raise money for that charity. To become a member, moms pay an annual amount of $25, some of the money goes towards the charity, meetup site dues, basic needs of the club, and operational costs. There is also some forms that are to be filled out before joining the club. The forms are basic information forms, interests, ideas to help improve the local MOMs Club.

We invite prospective members to contact us via Meetup or email to find out about upcoming events and meet members of our group. We also have a public facebook page that we share information for all moms to see and a private page for members to contact each other. https://www.facebook.com/MomsClubofPalmdale
