We are Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiast (MORE) "Riding Bikes and Building Trails since 1992".

Beginner-friendly MTB ride along the Muddy Branch Trail
Event Description - We will ride a portion of the Muddy Branch Trail, stopping periodically along the way to re-group. The ride is intended to be beginner-friendly but basic MTB skills are expected. Open to all genders but must be over age 18 or over age 16 with a parent.
A bike light will be needed through April as it will be getting dark toward the end of the ride.To participate please sign up for this ride on Golden Volunteer at:
https://x.gldn.io/e/k3miqlAiMHbYou must sign a waiver (through Golden Volunteer, at the link above), wear a helmet, and be able to comfortably ride your MTB bike. Bring your bike, helmet, and drinking water. This ride is not suitable for hybrid or gravel bikes - a functioning mountain bike is required!

Check your email or the MORE calendar prior to the event in case the ride is cancelled due to weather/trail conditions.
When - meet at 6 pm with wheels down at 6:10. Returning by 8 pm.

Pace: Casual (4-6mph)
Signup/Waiver: Golden Volunteer (manual or tablet to GV on site)Description: The ride will stop at places to explain the terrain and trail features, and tips on how to best ride them. These rides are a great way to introduce a friend or child to mountain biking (MTB). We use the beginner level trails and a few of the easier intermediate trails depending on the skill set of those who show up.

Event Description - The event is open for people age 18+. You must sign a waiver and wear a helmet. We expect to ride about 10 miles on single track natural surface trails at a pace of 8-10 mph. Bring your mountain bike, helmet, and drinking water. This ride is not suitable for hybrid bikes or beginners!
