What we're about

**DANCE OUT LOUD** \- LGBTQ 5 Rhythms & Open Floor Movement\, Art & Meditation Dance Class \

I am taking a sabbatical until the September Vacation retreat in Turkey \(25/09\)\.\.\.\. A time to reflect and review how my teaching will take shape moving forward \- I'm pulled to offering deeper one\-day and weekend workshops for GBTQ men both in Brighton and London\. I will post events and news here \

"Bodhi holds the space brilliantly with a solid thread of guidance throughout whilst at the same time giving each person complete freedom to express and play. There is a safe space, acceptance and warmth that lends a sense of ease in exploring dance both alone and in connection with other dancers". SB - photographer I love this practice. The first time I danced the Five Rhythms nearly 12 years ago my whole body was filled with an energetic 'YES'.... The dance touched me deeply and profoundly. So deeply, that I would like to share that taste of connection between mind, body and heart with you. DANCE OUT LOUD - is a gay community-focused group that is mixed and open to both gay and non-gay people who love to dance... The 5 Rhythms can be seen as a dance workout, a social event or a deep spiritual practice when you get into it. People come to see this movement practice more as a meditation and a therapeutic meeting without words. It can be fun, profound, silly, serious and playful. Welcome and join us today on this amazing path!! Bodie & Crew

Vacation 2022 - Together in Turkey

Needs a location

To be together
To move together
To witness together
To be

This is our ninth offering for our Vacation retreat for gay men, and we are really excited to be going to an absolutely terrific location with so much to offer to fill the days and nights…

The theme will be: Together, as a ‘participation’, where all the individuals of the circle make a unique contribution to create a unified and vital whole.
Can we move into being together from a time of isolation within this new covid paradigm.
Let us become an ‘empty witness’ dropping the judgment and inner critic, and not a spectator on the sidelines, to be a ‘participant’ - totally in the whole field.

Together in the abundance that is Patara, Turkey
An oasis of sun, sea and culture…. Where time has stood still from the ancient crossing of stones in the timeline to the current day. (Maybe, having walked around Patara in just one day - these words will take on new meaning for you?)

There is magic here!
I first stepped on this land over five years ago.
Patara has a local village that reminds me of Goan charm (India) and unspoilt connection of heart with former times. People are as friendly as the weather and as warm as the sea.

The theme of the week will be light - Just two (2 x hour) sessions a day, which will leave plenty of free time. Allowing time to relax at the end of the summer with the last rays of sun, stunning pool, one of the best beaches in the whole of Turkey and companionship to carry us into Autumn and beyond.

Xanthos Boutique Hotel opens their doors and hearts to us and are excited to have us as a group. There is a yoga studio, pool and many twin rooms all en-suite.

The cost is for the retreat participation fee, accommodation sharing a twin room with en suite bathroom (full-board). There is also an opportunity to arrive early and/or stay longer (with breakfast only)….
Flights, staying for extra nights and transfers are extra.

Early bird price to be £475 - for bookings until the end of May
£525 - for bookings in June and July
£575 - for bookings in August onwards
Participation fee includes £50 non-refundable deposit for accommodation (could be transferred to a friend if you would need to cancel your booking)
additional €240 Euro to be paid directly at the venue (based on accommodation sharing a twin room with en suite).

We can arrange airport pick-up from Dalaman Airport (cost to be confirmed depending on number of people) - which EasyJet serves from the UK with very competitive rates. Being Turkey most taxi stations have set rates - so moving around Turkey is easy to plan and budget if you fancy doing a more independent traveller approach. There is even a ferry crossing to Greece for the really adventurous traveller further up the coastline at Bodrum.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
