We had over 65 people at our last event, so let's do it again!
I'm setting up this gathering with several groups in the area. If you want to invite a group that I have not set up to attend, please contact me first! This is not an open invitation. I need to be sure we do not exceed hall capacity and be aware of the number of attendees for setting up the Haus.
FOOD: Please bring a food item (need more of these), snacks, or desert items (need less of these), plates, etc, but drinks must be purchased from the Haus (that's how I get the room for nothing). Drink prices are very reasonable! Please post what you intend to bring so we will not all bring the same things. If you answer the "why you are coming question with what you are bringing, it will show below your picture. If you update, you also see the question.
MUSIC: I have a DJ who has offered to play music without us having to pay a set fee. This way there is no financial risk for us to pay, then collect. It’s like pay-as-you-go, so PLEASE be generous and pitch in with some tips. Ian does have expenses and we do want to compensate him for his time. I want to thank the person who gave $40!!:) Unfortunately the total was not as much as I hoped. If everyone would give $3, that would be nice.
GENERAL INFO: The Haus is smoke free and background noise will be what we generate until the DJ begins. Feel free to bring board games or whatever to make this gathering more of a party.
PARKING: Offstreet parking is available and parking is available across the street and at lucky coin. Surrounding businesses are kind enough to let us use their parking so please do not liter! Also, please avoid parking in the neighborhood!
CLEAN UP: The Haus is a volunteer non-profit organization. In order to have these events with no rental fee, we must take responsibility for our mess. In general, everything was pretty clean; however, it would be nice if attendees would put their trash in the garbage cans and bring glasses back to the bar… that way I could go home earlier :)
