Topic: Excel SaveAs File Types & Excel and the WWW

In this session, Oakley Turvey is going to demystify the different filetypes used with Excel, explaining what the pros & cons of each one are and what they should be used for.

After that, Oakley will show how to get rapidly changing data from websites (HTML) and other filetypes that may be stored on the web.

Oakley (Oaks) is currently the owner of a Training Company called Academy Training Solutions, providing Staff Training for businesses in the UK and abroad.

He was formerly in the Military as an Engineer and had many training roles before leaving and working in the Corporate Sector.

Initially specializing in 'Soft Skills,' he moved on to software training in 2006 and had the door opened on a world of Excel that just keeps on growing. The saying, 'Every day is a school day,' is never truer than with Excel, and he hopes to go on learning while sharing what he knows with others.

His YouTube channel was initially started to share code that he wrote to enhance working with AutoCAD, but now has many videos on a wide range of software programs… and it is added to all the time whenever inspiration strikes.
