What we're about

My name is Erik, I've been mountain biking for over 6 years. I enjoy the trails and enjoy riding in a group. I ride a Specialized Fuse Comp 29. This group is for mountain bikers of all levels. From the Walmart bikes to the "My bike cost more than a car!" I enjoy hitting the trail and getting some dirt. I am no pro at any level but do want to continously improve my mountain biking skills. I have set up this group for those who just need others to ride with, those who are curious about the sport, and those who are learning new trails. Things to consider: Safety! Please bring a helmet! No kidding bring a helmet. Water! Please bring water! If it is a evening ride you may want to bring a light, we usually should be done before dark, but doesn't hurt to have one. Please come equipped with spare tubes, pump, items needed to repair flats or any random bike mishaps. Please be prepared to test yourself. If you're new to the sport give it try and know it only gets better the more you ride. Goal of ride is to get everyone through from start to finish. I do not want to leave anyone behind, but if you want to opt out at any point just let me know. Most rides will be at least 10 miles and about 2 hours long. Lastly, if you have a department store bike, please know it's a whole different experience when you have a bike that is meant to handle the trail. So keep that in mind when it may seem tough at some points. However, if you really want to pursue the sport further imagine how much more enjoyable the ride will be in a true mountain bike.

I hope you give it a try and hope to see you out on the trails!
