What we’re about

The Montreal Machine Learning meetup group is where we organize 2 types of events: 1) Mini-Conferences (few times a year, large attendance); 2) Study Groups (almost monthly, small groups). Attendance is limited in both types of events and a waiting list typically forms right after an announcement, as the initial capacity fills up quickly. Mini-Conferences are organized as follows:

The emphasis is on industrial applications and practical ML, but other aspects are also partially covered during the events. Meetup group members with names and introduction section properly filled out in their profiles will have priority in attending the meetups in case of limited capacity.

Apart from attending the events, please do not hesitate to reach out to the organizer if you wish to present your work: an industrial project, an academic paper, or even an interesting work you've done as a hobby. Anything technically interesting for our ML community can be scheduled in an upcoming event; see the details at https://www.montrealml.dev/speakers

Each event comes with its own terms and conditions specified in its page, but there are also common terms that apply to all. By attending an event, you indicate that you have read, understood and accepted these terms: https://www.montrealml.dev/terms

Details of Study Group events are mentioned in the meetup description itself and can change from one meetup to another; these are not published on www.montrealml.dev.
