Aspects of C++ in autonomous driving development

Details

This month we have the special pleasure to dive into the autonomous driving development at BMW.

----------------------------------------
Presenter: Jan Ehrensperger. In the last 3 years Jan has been working in the future topic of shaping autonomous driving at BMW Group. There he is part of the software development organization and working on traffic rules representation for autonomous cars in urban context.

----------------------------------------
Abstract: Autonomous driving is on everyone's lips in current media, and many companies started costly effort in this domain to accomplish a product ready for series production, fulfilling international legal requirements. This talk will outline four prominent aspects of C++ programming by facilitating the straightforward Root Mean Square Error algorithm. It will be presented how memory safety performance and reusability constraints influence its C++ code in the embedded real-time and safety domain of autonomous driving.
