On April 13th we have the honor to welcome Tomasz Dolbniak to our user group. Tomasz has been coding in C++ for about 13 years, mostly on desktop apps created with the Qt framework. He's worked on software used in the bank industry, aviation and fire detection. His journey in AI started 2 years ago when he joined Intel AI in Gdańsk. Since then he's been actively developing nGraph, adding the ONNX standard support to it and integrating the library with various frameworks. In 2020 he's joined the OpenVINO toolkit developers and that's where he continues his deep learning adventure.

Abstract: Graphs are a very important aspect in the AI world. No matter if you're just starting to learn about artificial neural networks or work with real-world models, graphs are there. In this presentation I'd like to explain how they are used in practice in deep learning, in particular how they are implemented in nGraph. I will also talk about some graph optimization techniques that eventually result in better performance of the final inference of the model.
