I am a new organizer for the Mufon Canada Meetup. I hope to encourage people to pursue their interest in UFOlogy, investigations etc. mostly by creating a space where we can share experiences, thoughts, ideas, maybe field trips to go looking. I am not an official MUFON representative, mostly I took over this Meetup group to try to keep the spirit alive, especially in Canada.
I noticed that there hasn't been much activity here, in Canada, which I attribute largely to time and distance. It is difficult to maintain enthusiasm when the driving distances are daunting. But, it worth a try!
So, my thoughts is to create Zoom meetings, probably 2x a month, and trips depending on interest levels.
