This month, we are back to our usual format of two talks.

Blockchain is the Technology behind Bitcoin, Ethereum and other Cryptocurrencies - but it's potential reaches far beyond simple commerce. This is an introduction to the concept and a look at the wide-ranging effect it promises to have on the world.

A developer by day, by night Tom volunteers with the Open Rights Group (http://manchester.openrightsgroup.org/) to protect and promote your rights and security where the on and off line worlds meet. Tonight you can help rescue local businesses that are being removed from the Internet. It could be yours!
