Machines & Humans Meetup
Details
Automation and Machine Intelligence are changing the world. Humans work side-by-side with machines in more places every day. Technology increases productivity and frees people from boring tedious work. Every company will have to learn to include machines in its workflows or go out of business.
This meetup is about sharing knowledge and best practices of applying automation and machine intelligence at the workplace. We go beyond DevOps and QA Automation. Almost every business process across the company (Sales, Marketing, People Operations, Product Management, etc) can benefit from technology.
Learn about the cutting-edge practices of automating everything and making better decisions using machine intelligence.
Our speakers will tell you about practical applications of automation and machine intelligence for improving and automating business processes. It includes building an elaborate semi-automated system for reviewing pull requests in Github as well as an end-to-end process of designing, building, testing, operationalizing, monitoring, and optimizing a machine learning model.

Improving the business with AI (by Jairo Loranca & Andrey Oleksiuk)
The talk is about the most used company-wide AI model that we built internally at DataRobot. The model was created for predicting revenue and is aimed to help with high-level business decisions at DataRobot. At first it seemed like a simple task but turned out to be an extreme challenge. We will tell you the full story of how it started, what challenges (both technical and people-related) we have faced and what are our plans for the future.
