I am writing to you today to hope this group will consider participation in our annual Wildlife Advocacy Day; Wildlife Day at the Farm. On August 17th, wildlife advocates will join with Wisconsin small family farmers and scientists.

This annual wildlife advocacy day is designed to educate and motivate wildlife and wilderness lovers on important wildlife-related issues and to encourage representatives hear about coexistence and address our need on how to best advocate for wildlife in Wisconsin.

The event will take place at Cain’s Orchard in the heart of the Black River Falls State Forest, where outdoor recreation opportunities and wildlife thrive, including the area’s elk herd, wolves, bears and an incredible diversity of bird and plant life!

FREE Food:
Field Roast, Tofurky, BearNibbles, Toffutti, Beyond Burger and local farm products including caramel drizzled apples, blueberries, and more!

Activities:
Tractor rides, hiking, berry picking, bird watching, wolf howling, a bonfire, farm to table shopping, kids activities, and camping with many more recreational opportunities in the area. In the evening, for those staying in the area, we will go out and do a guided hike with wildlife experts and then wolf howling survey in the Black River Forest. There will be many chances to see other amazing wildlife during that time.
