NOTE: This online-only event will utilize the video platform Zoom and Netflix Party. Please be aware that you will need either Zoom or Netflix account in order to attend the Netflix Party. Zoom is free and Netflix is offering a 30-day free trial. Zoom installation instructions and how to use Netflix are available in the Meetup event.

For our Netflix Party, we will be watching the American film documentary, 13th. This event is to bring people together and to allow an opportunity to educate each other. Please be aware that this film is Rated TV-MA.

"The film explores the "intersection of race, justice, and mass incarceration in the United States; it is titled after the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, adopted in 1865, which abolished slavery throughout the United States and ended involuntary servitude except as a punishment for conviction of a crime."

The Netflix Party link will be sent at 7:15 pm to Zoom's chat, email, and Meetup's comments. All you need is your phone, tablet, or laptop!

SECURITY MEASURES

We'll be locking the room at 7:20pm (meaning no one else will be allowed to enter), and no one but the host (WiT) will be allowed to share their screen. You can use the Netflix Party link at any time during the event, so long as you have a Netflix account.
