They are the two juggernaut regions of the Spanish wine world and they dominate any conversation about Spanish reds. But can you really tell the difference? And, most importantly, which should you pick?
This week we’re turning the Devour Madrid Tasting Cave into a metaphorical boxing ring of the senses for the showdown of the season. Two Riojas. Two Riberas. Two rounds of blind tasting to put your taste buds to the test. Only one wine can be crowned the victor!

The amount of wine we buy is linked to the number of people who RSVP for the event. If you RSVP for a tasting but then realize you won't be able to make it, please, please un-RSVP (even if it's only 30 minutes before the start time!). Without sounding too draconian, we do keep a track of no-shows. If anybody no-shows twice (i.e. is RSVP'd but doesn't show up), I'll remove them from the Meet Up. Many thanks!
