Let's talk about Magento!

Details
The next Magento Minds of Manchester aims to bring together the great expertise our city has to offer on the top eCommerce platform. So far we have two confirmed speakers, and we're about to confirm a third, so we thought we'd announce the event to get the ball rolling.
• Angelo Maragna is Magento Developer and IT supervisor at Net World Sports Ltd., and he'll be delivering a very timely talk on Magento security.
• John Hughes is Technical Director at Fisheye, a Magento Solutions Partner, and will be talking about how to harness the power of BlueFoot in Magento Commerce (Enterprise Edition) for both agencies and developers as well as some insights into the upcoming Magento Advanced CMS.
• Michael Stevens of Magento will be talking about hosting the platform in the cloud, and why "it's the future".
• Benny Brown joined PushON as a WordPress developer but soon started to get involved with Magento. He's going to talk about his experience of picking it up and becoming a competent Magento developer over a short period. He's now looking to the next step: Certified Magento Developer status.
These events are always lively and informative and are an informal way to get to know other experts and potential partners form the local Magento ecosystem. Food and drink are provided courtesy of PushON.
... and a polite request
We want to keep the Magento Meetups free of charge and without a deposit so that there are no barriers to attending, but the biggest threat to continuation is no-shows. If you can't make it on the night, no matter how late you find out, please cancel your attendance so someone else can be invited in your place. These meetings are nonprofit and are for the benefit of the community, so please repay this spirit by showing courtesy to the organisers and those who were a little too late to make the attendees list. Thanks in advance!
