Es ist Weihnachtszeit und wir befinden uns in einer Stadt, die für ihren Weihnachtsmarkt berühmt ist. Da liegt es nahe, den Stammtisch mit einem Besuch auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt zu verbinden.

Wir treffen uns wie jedes Jahr am Öcher Glühwein-Treff. Das ist ein großer Glühweinstand auf dem Katschhof zwischen Rathaus und Dom. Genauer gesagt ist es auf diesem Platz der Glühweinstand, der dem Dom am nächsten ist. (http://aachenweihnachtsmarkt.de/en/weingut-keth-m-schmitz)

Unser übliches Programm für diese Weihnachtsmarkt-Ausgabe sieht vor, dass wir nach dem Glühwein in ein nahegelegenes Restaurant zum Essen einkehren. Es wird keine Vortrage geben.

Als besonderer Gast für diesen Abend hat sich Ben Marks, Magento Evangelist, angekündigt. Er nimmt jede Frage rund um Magento gerne entgegen und trägt die Anliegen der Community an Magento Inc. weiter.

It's Christmas time and we are fortunately located in a city that is well-known for its beautiful Christmas market. Do we need any more reasons to combine a Magento meetup with a stop at the Christmas market?

By now, it's a tradition to have one of our Magento meetup dates at the booth "Öcher Glühwein-Treff" (roughly translated: Aachen mulled wine meeting point). It's a rather big booth located on Katschhof, that's the square between city hall (Rathaus) and Aachen Cathedral (Dom). "Öcher Glühwein-Treff" is the mulled wine booth that's closest to the cathedral on this square. Our usual program for this Christmas market edition of our meetup is to have mulled wine first, then go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. There won't be any official talks, no Powerpoint either.
