April Main Line Writers Group Meeting

JOIN US FOR CRITIQUE NIGHT at
The 2nd Main Line Writers Group Meeting!

Decided by popular vote at the March meeting, we will alternate official programs with critique nights!

You can participate in two ways:

BRING a piece for feedback from other writers. Your piece should be a maximumum of six pages double-spaced. Each page should be numbered and have your name on the header or footer. Bring six printed copies. Whether or not you submit your piece in advance online to the other members, please bring 6 or 7 copies of your printed piece to the meeting.
Come with pen in hand and help give feedback. Authors bringing work want constructive feedback on how to make their work better.

If you don't want to bring a piece, that's fine! Just help in the process of critiquing others' work. There's a lot to be learned from the critique process that you can apply later to your own writing.

Bertucci's general manager has been kind enough to provide us with a room, and commit the room to our group for our meetings. Yay Bertucci's! The food there is great and they have a back room for us that is great for gatherings and presentations. We will be separate from the others in the restaurant and will have plenty of room to "do our thing."

Mark your calendar for the third Wednesday of every month as The Main Line Writers Group's regular meeting at Bertucci's in Wayne.

Remember, the official meeting will start at 7:00 pm, BUT if you'd like a little extra time with fellow writers, come and have dinner around 6:00 pm. The food is great and it's the opportunity to spend a little more time socializing.

Please let everyone know whether you will be attending through meetup and make an effort to come, even when last minute things come up. Remember, it will be what you make of it!
