Sunday Salons - STRING THING - Dyeing

Details
Since January often means starting something new, what better way to do something new than by learning to dye yarn? We'll use food-safe materials to dye animal-fiber yarns (wool, mohair, alpaca, angora, blends) supplied by the leader or that you bring from home. Learn what items you have in your cupboard can be used to create your own one-of-a-kind yarns. NO CHARGE but please register so the leader has enough supplies. You can bring your own light-colored yarn (must be animal fiber or have very little non-animal content) and the leader will have some plain wool yarn for those who don't bring their own. NO CHARGE but freewill donations to the space or the teacher are always welcome.

Every Sunday from October through April (or May) we will have an activity that is open to everybody. Bring friends, tell friends. No charge, but a donation to the space is always welcome. Beverages and snacks available for a nominal fee, or bring your own.
THIRD SUNDAY is STRING THING. Almost anything involving string: making it (spinning, twisting), knitting, crocheting, weaving, knotting (including but not limited to macramé), tatting, bobbin lace, sewing, embroidery, netting - whatever you like to do with string!
Some months we may have a how-to class, potentially with a charge if a kit is or supplies are involved. Volunteers to teach are always welcome. If you don't want to take the class, you're welcome to come and work on your own project.
