How to find us

Parking is easy to find and free (atrium lot is rather small - PARKING IN REAR and side of building - back door unlocked till 7:30). We're in the BASEMENT. Make a U turn off the elevator and go left. Follow the sound.

Being able to solder and solder well is a fundamental skill that will be invaluable no matter what you do with electricity or electronics. In this hands-on class you will not only learn the techniques of soldering, but you will assemble a very useful, functioning electronic kit that you can keep and show off to friends and family. This assembled kit that you will make will be very useful for further experimentation and projects in electronics and soldering it will be a fun and very valuable activity.

The fee for this class covers all the equipment and materials you will use. Everything is provided. All you need bring is an excitement about learning a new skill.

No prior experience is necessary and it's perfect for absolute beginners, but there is a MINIMUM AGE OF 14. Even if you have done some soldering before, this class will empower you to do it even better.

In order to take this class, you must sign up and pay via credit card. See the RSVP and payment section below. Enrollment closes 24 hours before the start of the class. If the class is cancelled for any reason or you cancel more than 48 hours before it begins, you will receive a full refund.

30 Arbor street is the “H” building in between Real Art Ways on Arbor and the UHaul on Capital Ave. You can park in any of the free lots surrounding the building or on the street. Both the front and back door lead into the elevator lobby.

We're in the BASEMENT of the building. Make a U turn getting out of the elevator and take a left at the T, or follow the signs in the hall. We have a large chalk board next to our door.
