We promised to keep what we know under wraps until next week, but it involves a wearable computer, dogs and a mobile app, and it looks very cool. Even more interesting? FitBark is up on Kickstarter, NOW. (http://kck.st/17k5HLZ) This is a rare look into not only how Davide created the project, but also a peek into a Kickstarter campaign in progress, of what is looking to be a huge Kickstarter success - which means that topics like manufacturing and fulfillment are on the table, too. Go Davide!
http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/b/c/c/c/event_223908332.jpegMakeIt NYC member and SuperMaker Howard Fink (https://www.meetup.com/MakeIt-NYC/members/14879241/) presents his Lunar Terrain Maps (http://finkh.wordpress.com/lunar-terrain-models/). So Howard basically finds out that there's public data available from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (http://lro.gsfc.nasa.gov/), gets it, turns it into modeling data, and 3D prints incredibly accurate lunar maps. Oh, is that all? Howard talks about how he did this amazingly creative and unique 3D-printed project. Special thanks to Howard for being our first double presenter!
http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/9/9/f/e/event_228699422.jpegMakeIt NYC member Harsh Mody (https://www.meetup.com/MakeIt-NYC/members/45119732/) is bringing his Bridge Controller. Think wireless, keyboard, touchpad, joystick, video games - this is the Swiss Army Knife of controllers. Harsh tells us how he came up with the idea, how he got it prototyped, and where he's going with it. We've seen it, and it's pretty darned cool, partner.

Of course, we'll have pizza, refreshments, networking and a beer afterwards, too, if you're so inclined. See you there, Maker!
