• What we'll do
Interested in CAD? Russ is. Join him every first Tuesday of the month at 7pm to discuss and work on CAD projects in fusion 360.
It is recommended to bring a computer with Fusion 360 installed (it is free for hobbyist use).
[NOTE: Check back for specific topic or patterns/supplies that will be used]
Whether it's for repairing clothes, making sails for a boat, making costumes or quilts or stuffed animals, sewing has many practical and fun applications and can be an amazingly useful skill to have.
Join us for our first Sewing Night at Annapolis Makerspace! Bring along your own machines and projects to show off or just show up with questions and curiosity about the fabric arts!
We'll be talking about machine sewing, hand sewing, sergers and embroidery machines, among other topics!
Light refreshments will be available but you're also welcome to bring the refreshments of your choice.
So you can do 3D design, but you want to do something practical with it like mill your design on a CNC router. This companion workshop, to our Autodesk Fusion 360 workshop on the first Tuesday of every month, will help you with the next step in the CAD/CAM process.
Topics can include CAM programming, setting up work on the router, router maintenance and improvements.
Emi will be hosting a Friday board gaming night starting at 7pm at Annapolis Makerspace. She will be providing some games and light refreshments. Come hang out at the Makerspace and feel free to bring any games you might like to play. We plan on making this a monthly meetup if people enjoy it.
Various board and card games will be available to try out.
