3rd Saturday Torah Study & Shabbat Service - Led by Gabbai Mike Melnick

Our Shabbat services are unique, incorporating healing meditation, chanting, original and traditional melodies, even joyous dancing in the aisles. Our prayer book includes Hebrew, English and transliteration. If the liturgy is unfamiliar, you’re encouraged to hum along. We sing and pray together, and support each other. We celebrate Shabbat services together as follows: The 1st Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m led by Rabbi Jay Siegel The 3rd Friday of each month at 7:30 pm led by Rabbi Jay Siegel We also have a Torah Study / Shabbat Service on: The 3rd Saturday of each month at 10:00 led by Gabbai Mike Melnick Founded by Rabbi Ted Falcon, we have been blessed with many amazing spiritual & religious teachers, including Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, & Rabbi Debra Orenstein. Makom Ohr Shalom shares the sacred and beautiful space of Bethel Lutheran Church for our services, located at 17500 Burbank Blvd., Encino, CA 91316. Our congregation enjoys creating the energies of interfaith worship to provide a platform for world peace and Tikkun Olam. There is plenty of free parking behind the sanctuary and the social hall, with the entrance on Encino Avenue. We invite your membership! No one is turned away due to finances.
