_________
This meeting...
Talks on:
This one is a definite, so, please, bring along your laptops if you want to try this yourself.
MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport)
MQTT is a machine-to-machine (M2M)/"Internet of Things" connectivity protocol.
If you bring along a Linux or Mac then, via the terminal, you can try it out.
Debian: sudo apt install mosquitto-clients
or use 'brew' on a Mac for mosquitto
SQLite (Talk by Domingo) This is a 'maybe' - haven't received confirmation as yet.
SQLite is the most used database engine in the world.
It is built into all mobile phones and most computers and comes bundled inside countless other applications that people use every day.
Wireguard
WireGuard aims to be as easy to configure and deploy as SSH. A VPN connection is made simply by exchanging very simple public keys – exactly like exchanging SSH keys – and all the rest is transparently handled by WireGuard.
Podcasts - If we get time
What tech podcasts do you listen to and by what means? If you are not listening to podcasts you are missing out on a wealth of shared knowledge.
PLUS all the stuff you want to talk about
