Male Photography & Modeling Workshop DC

MALE PHOTOGRAPHY & MODELING WORKSHOP DC 

This group aims to help photographers as well as male models develop their professional expertise. While we focus on male models, the photographers may include either gender (assuming the model is comfortable). 

Models can be professional, semi-pro, or amateur and all models are welcome to join the group. Some are paid and others are looking for modeling practice and accept images in exchange for modeling. Contact the organizer if you're interested in modeling.

Most of our workshops provide both education AND practice time. They are held in our studio in Arlington VA, as well as other studios and locations/outdoors. 

Novice and experienced photographers are welcome at our workshops - with or without prior studio experience. All can begin shooting high quality studio shoots very quickly. It is expected that all photographers will bring a digital or film SLR camera. 

The goal for studio workshops is to keep the group small so that each photographer has plenty of shooting time over a two hour timeframe.  Some workshops are more demo style and others include lectures and members are always encouraged to share their expertise. We also occasionally offer a studio 101 training for photographers and models who want to learn the basics.
