Hiking Is Good for Body Mind and Soul

It's a powerful fat burning Cardio workout burning at least 400-to 700 calories in one hour. Some hikes take 2 and 3 hours, you do the math!

Challenging terrain and heavy backpack will burn even more calories.

Suggested Workout Routine:

Sunday - Long Hike with medium weight pack and poles - at least ten miles Monday - Pilates/Yoga /Spin and stretching - 40 minutesTuesday - Muscle endurance / Core workout - 30-40 minutes Wednesday - Short hike with heavy pack - five milesThursday - Pilates/Yoga or Spin- 40 minutesFriday - Muscle Endurance / Core workout - 30 -40 minutesSaturday - Short hike with medium pack - 5-to-10 m
