What we're about

When: August 19-21, 2016

This summer the international ManKind Project will be sponsoring a New Warriors Training Adventure (NWTA) weekend in southern Idaho. In 2009 I traveled to Chicago for my weekend. It was one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. I had the good job, the decent house, was a husband and father, but I wondered what was missing. What was the point? What was next?

WHAT IS IT: The New Warrior Training Adventure is a REAL TIME hero's journey. It is the challenge of a lifetime for many men. It's safe, supportive and cutting edge. It is NOT a retreat, a conference or a workshop. It is NOT like anything you've done before. Many men say that this experience is second only to seeing and supporting the birth of their children.

HOW LONG IS IT: Approximately 5 PM FRIDAY (8/19/16) until 4 PM SUNDAY (8/21/16).

WHAT YOU WILL GET: You'll get more than you're willing to hope for: purpose, passion, vibrancy, joy, healing, connection to self, new energy, clarity, power, freedom, understanding, brotherhood, trust. Over 50,000 men have now taken this journey, and every man's experience has been unique.

WHO RUNS IT: The ManKind Project International. We are a 29 year-old nonprofit organization with a proven track-record of helping men grow, flourish, and build community. We want your life to be ALL that you want it to be. We want you to be healthy in mind, body and spirit, to feel valuable and powerful as a mature man in the world. We want a culture that is safe, supportive and vibrant for our partners, families, kids and grand-kids. If you want that too, then take this to heart - this training will have a profound impact on you and all those you care about.

ORGANIZER'S NOTE: I have met most of the men on staff; they are superb and are already preparing for those who will be coming to the weekend in August. There is still space available. If you have questions, you can reach me directly at rhpeterson@gmail.com. I am not compensated to promote the New Warrior Training. My purpose is to get the word out and build our community of men looking to change and heal our world.
