What we're about

We are a group of men who sit in circle in the greater Portland area to share a deeper connection to truth, accountability and integrity. What does it mean to draw clean boundaries and own my projections? How do I show up in the world and what blocks me from achieving my dream? How can I become a better partner, son, father, brother or friend?

All men are welcome to this non-denominational circle. Participation is completely voluntary and confidentiality is paramount.

Our events are as shown in Portland. This is a free gathering of men, whether you've got experience with men's work or not. Those of us who are running the event have all been through a particular kind of men's personal work training delivered by the ManKind Project - and we want to share the power of men connecting with each other. Men’s Open Circle

2800 SE Harrison St

Please read all the way through, thanks :) An open circle for men, including trans men and other male identifying folx, is forming, with the intention to meet on the first and third Monday of each month. A brave place to check in authentically and do some work while being held non-judgmentally and in confidence. The ground rules are simple: Confidentiality, authenticity, holding space for others, and being sober while in attendance. While not a substitute for therapy, it is a powerful way to experience support. About the facilitators: James Malbon Harrison is a Hypnotist and Shadow Worker in private practice on the western slope of Mt. Tabor. His work is informed by the Mankind Project and the latest in applied neurology, with a deep emphasis on non-cognitive healing. www.flowhypno.com Entrance are the red doors in the back lot of St. David of Wales, please arrive a bit early to ensure a good transition. Cost: No one turned away for lack of funds, we will pass-the-hat and accept donations of any amount, suggested donation would be something like $15-10, more if you can afford it and are in a higher privileged socio-economic class. Thank You. We are very open to receiving feedback and requests! Please feel free to comment on this event!

Men’s Open Circle

An open circle for men, including trans men and other male-identifying folx, is beginning to meet on the first and third Monday of each month. A brave place to check in authentically and do some work while being held non-judgmentally and in confidence. The ground rules are simple: Confidentiality, authenticity, holding space for others, and being sober while in attendance. While not a substitute for therapy, it is a powerful way to experience support. Entrance are the red doors in the back lot of St. David of Wales, please arrive a bit early to ensure a good transition. Cost: No one is ever turned away for lack of funds, and we "pass the hat" at the end of every meeting to cover rental costs. Your $5-15 will help us do this (or more if you can afford it or are in a higher-privileged socio-economic class). Thank You.
