Buxton Tap Takeover at the Magnet, Stockport- a Manchester Beer Week event

For one night only the excellent beers of Buxton Brewery are brought closer to us (unless you live in or near Buxton of course!) - to one of Stockport's very best pubs, the Magnet.

"One of Britain's best breweries are joining forces with one of Greater Manchester's best-loved pubs for a night of great beer and merriment.

Buxton Brewery, named as one of the top 100 breweries in the world by RateBeer, will be bringing at least five kegs and five casks to the Magnet Freehouse and the brewers will be on hand to chat and share a drink.

Casks of Buxton beer are only regularly available at the brewery's own Tap House, so this will be a special treat for Manchester Beer Week punters.

The beer list will be confirmed closer to the event so check back for updates on what will be available. Whatever way, you won't be disappointed!"

*The Manchester Beer Week logo features a worker bee in the centre. This has been used as a symbol of the city since the Industrial Revolution. It appeared on Boddington's Brewery's logo and bees also feature in the city's coat of arms, along with an antelope and a lion!
