Kadampa Meditation Centre Manchester has two locations: a beautiful, modern city centre space at 125 Portland Street, Manchester, M1 4QD, we also have a centre in the leafy suburb of Chorlton (which is also home to our World Peace Cafe)

Both of our location offer drop in classes everyday (and most evenings) of the week and a peaceful, friendly space where everyone is welcome. Why not come along and give them a try? Daily Lunchtime meditation - livestream

Online event

Lunchtime meditation classes will take place daily online on Mondays to Fridays from 12:30 to 1pm. Please note that the classes on Wednesdays are now in-person only at our Chorlton centre. The classes on the other days are still online only events.

These beginners meditation classes are an opportunity to take some time out, let go of anxieties, worries, fears and develop some sense of inner clarity and calm These classes cost £3 and should be booked at least one hour before the class on the website:

The Power of A Peaceful Mind

Tuesdays at 7.30 – 8.45pm with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Lhachog.

In this 4 week course, we will be discovering the power that exists in developing and maintaining a peaceful mind. This course is based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book How to Transform Your Life

A practical manual for daily life that shows how we can develop and maintain inner peace, how we can reduce and stop our experience of problems, and how we can bring about positive changes in our lives that will enable us to experience deep and lasting happiness. This is a significantly revised edition of one of Venerable Geshe Kelsang’s most popular and accessible books.

Wednesday Night Owl Meditation

With Kadampa Teacher Jeff.
A video of the class will be available to watch later for 5 days after the actual event.

End your day with a peaceful mind and take some positive thoughts with you into your world of
sleep. Each week will offer a short teaching and guided meditation featuring a few words of
Buddha’s advice for a happier life and a more peaceful mind. A perfect way to end the day!
