Please join us for the first Manchester MySQL Meetup from 17:30 on 17th May 2018, at the Rentalcars.com offices in the centre of the city.

For this first meet, Abbas Ahmed, Principle Database Engineer from BookingGo will be joined by Tibor Köröcz, Database Architect from Percona for a couple of presentations:

Abbas will be taking a look at using MySQL as a document store ... a hot topic for those that might be looking at the options.

Tibor will take a look at the new release of MySQL 8.0, which is now GA, and what’s in store for those who might be looking to upgrade (or even start with) this version of the software.

There will be time to ask questions, meet other users and talk about your own experiences of and interests in MySQL.

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided, with Percona providing these for this first event.

Please RSVP… We hope you can join us!
