This month's subject sounds simple but often throws up a lot of debate. It is all about how we test the software we build. Both in an automated fashion and by hand. We will look at questions like -
· What types of testing do you carry out?
· What environments do you do it in?
· Which parts of that are automated?
· Do you standardise your tests across applications?
· How do you decide on the best form of testing to carry out?
· How owns/writes/carries out the tests?
· What style of unit testing do you use?
· What tooling do you use?
· When do you test?
· What works for you or not?
