Headbangers Day Drinking Pub Crawl

Needs a location

After a two year absence for some vague reason, John & Dave bring to you round 2 of our Daydrinking Pub Crawl!

Join us as we tour round the tradtional headbanger's spots and a few others as well, regulars and new folk alike welcome. We know we have some members that often have to leave early or don't like the club nights as much so hopefully people can make it out for this one.

The provisional plan as it stands is:
Start at Sandbar
Flour & Flagon
Lass O' Gowrie
Possibly Hatch depending on weather?
Grand Central
Salisbury
(Satan's is not an official part of the plan, but a very likely outcome for those who want to commit to a full 12 hour session)

Timings and exact route will likely be an on the day decision, but we'll be posting where we are and when we're moving on on the day so people can join when they want to. Any questions beforehand please let us know!

Festwich weekend

Needs a location

The annual tribute band festival is back for it's 10th anniversary. Saturday is the hard rock and metal day but there are plenty of bands to interest the Headbanger on Sunday to.

Meeting point on both day's will be Prestwich tram stop with the final meeting times confirmed closer to the event. The usual practice is to establish a meeting point at each stage to help find each other during the day as people move about or join later in the day. Although Festwich is small enough that it's hard not to trip over a Headbanger.

More info and full line up can be found on the Festwich website: festwich.com

Tickets are £13.70 per day and can be bought here: ticketline.co.uk/festwich

Apocalypse - Metal / Emo / Alternative Night

Needs a location

The South Coast's biggest alternative night returns to Manchester

Let's meet for drinks and chat at the Salisbury from 8:30, before heading for the Apocalypse (at Bread Shed) about 11, to enjoy Metal / Emo / Alternative anthems.

With regular nights in cities on the south coast, DJ sets at Bloodstock, and keeping the nation dancing with virtual nights over lockdown, Apocalypse know how to throw an alternative party. The Apocalypse sounds like:

A Day to Remember / Alestorm / Avatar / Avenged Sevenfold / Avril Lavigne / Black Veil Brides / Blink-182 / Bloodywood / Bring Me The Horizon / Deftones / Disturbed / Enter Shikari / Evanescence / Fall out Boy / Foo Fighters / Ghost / Gojira / Good Charlotte / Green Day / Halestorm / Hollywood Undead / In This Moment / Incubus / Korn / Lamb of God / Limp Bizkit / Linkin Park / Metallica / Motionless in White / My Chemical Romance / Panic! at the Disco / Paramore / Papa Roach / Parkway Drive / Prodigy / Rage Against The Machine / Rammstein / Rob Zombie / Sabaton / Slayer / Slipknot / Sum 41 / System of a Down / The Used / Thirty Seconds to Mars / Tenacious D / Tool / You Me at Six

New members always welcome.
