MEVA talks about Peg City Car Co-op and its plug-in hybrid electric! Join us!

Details
The Manitoba Electric Vehicle Association (MEVA) is pleased to support other organizations which are encouraging Manitobans to drive electric vehicles. So, this month, we're reaching out to the Peg City Car Co-op, which includes a plug-in, hybrid-electric Chevy Volt in its car-share fleet. MEVA members are keen to learn more about car-sharing, the Peg City Car Co-op, and the people who are making it happen. We're especially interested in their experience with an electric vehicle. Therefore, we're happy that Aaron Russin, Member Service Co-ordinator at the Peg City Car Co-op, will be our guest speaker at this month's MEVA meeting.
Before being hired to help launch the car-share in June, 2011, Aaron worked in the insurance industry for both private and public institutions. He studied social and political philosophy at the University of Winnipeg, and is currently pursuing a Certified General Accountant designation. Aaron has a general interest in city planning, urban issues and social justice, with a special interest in initiating and reinforcing small or co-operative business models which adhere to the principles of Community Economic Development.
What Aaron and the rest of the folks at Peg City Car Co-op are trying to achieve should resonate deeply with all Manitobans who are interested in creating a greener environment. So, everyone is welcome to come to our Manitoba Electric Vehicle Association meeting, to hear Aaron's presentation and ask him questions.
