What we're about
Many Loves a consent-based discussion group whose intention is to build a community of people who are curious about, or actively practicing, polyamory (though we will also be discussing topics pertaining to others under the ethical non-monogamy umbrella).
This group is for those 18 and older. (Younger folks are instead encouraged to seek information from age-appropriate sources like scarleteen.com (http://scarleteen.com/))
Though members may become close with each other, we ask that they refrain from actively seeking new partners within the context of Many Loves events. Many Loves is not intended to serve as a therapy or treatment program. (For poly-friendly mental health services, please visit the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom's Kink Aware Professionals Directory (https://ncsfreedom.org/key-programs/kink-aware-professionals/kap-program-page.html)).
As you join, you are agreeing to keep confidential any information which might identify someone within the group to someone outside of the group.
Many Loves is a consent-based organization. Among other things, this means that members are asked to refrain from touching other members and their property without explicit permission.
Many Loves events are held at The Mark (http://www.themarkbycpi.com), Nashville's community center for people of varied relationship expressions and sexual orientations. Please be aware that this is a sex-positive space that features sensual and sexual art in areas which may be frequented by Many Loves members, and erotic furniture in other areas of the facility. All restrooms at The Mark are gender-neutral, and the facility and parking lot are completely ADA-accessible.
We are committed to building a community that is affirming of all identities and which especially takes care to amplify, protect, and understand the voices of people whose identities are traditionally marginalized.

2) The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (http://www.ncsfreedom.org) (NCSF) is committed to creating a political, legal and social environment in the US that advances equal rights for consenting adults who engage in alternative sexual and relationship expressions. The NCSF aims to advance the rights of, and advocate for, consenting adults in the BDSM-Leather-Fetish, Swing, and Polyamory Communities. The NCSF pursues its vision through direct services, education, advocacy, and outreach, in conjunction with our partners, to directly benefit these communities.
