The basics of D3

Need to create charts, graphs, and maps in JavaScript, but don't want to pull in multiple libraries? If so, D3 is the library (https://d3js.org/) for you!

This month, we'll be talking about the basics of the data visualization and mapping library D3. We'll do an introduction into what D3 is, why it's useful, and how it can be used to display maps and data on those maps. Coding experience will help, but we will go over simple examples and discuss each section of code, so beginners are encouraged to attend!
