New Coordinate System in 2022!

We're welcoming a guest speaking from the Colorado Geodetic Working Group, Joey Stone, to help us understand how the new State Plane reference systems will affect geospatial work.

To improve the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS), NGS (National Geodetic Survey) will replace the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83) and the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88) with a new geometric reference frame and geopotential datum in 2022.
