Boomer Cohousing, (formerly Marin Senior Cohousing) is a forum for people 55+ interested in forming a Cohousing Development in Marin. Supported by a dedicated core team researching possible sites and laying the groundwork for our first development, Boomer Cohousing provides education, information, outings and community development.
In electing Marin for this ground breaking village we see the enormous opportunity for creating a creative housing option for the Baby Boom generation.

The Bay Delta Bioregional Regeneration Unconference (Oakland, In-Person)

East Bay Cohousing & Cohousing California are helping organize this event and we look forward to being part of sessions about living in sustainable community, EcoVillage Design Principles, effective group decision making, what it takes to live well together. It's an unconference, which means that we all set the agenda together and anybody can present and organize and contribute, so you're not just sitting around listening to other people talk. The location is right by Lake Merritt BART near downtown Oakland, just off 880 with lots of parking, easy to access from anywhere.
Our calling question is: How do we activate our communities across the Bay Delta bioregion and watersheds to co-create a thriving future for all life?
An Unconference in a unique format where the agenda is co-created by all attendees and led by our experienced production team, using Open Space Technology. Sessions span topics like bioregionalism, local food systems, governance, land stewardship, Indigenous leadership, mutual aid, solidarity economy and regenerative practices.
Join doers and dreamers from across the Bay Delta Region to re-imagine a world that works for all life. Whether you're a gardener, organizer, artist, land steward, technologist, or simply curious about building a thriving regenerative future, this is your invitation to join a growing network in the Bay Delta Bioregion, committed to enabling a future that is planet positive and life affirming for all life, human and non-human.
Our goal is to create a container where everyone feels welcome and empowered to contribute.
