Fitness walkers training for marathons, half marathons or just meeting to walk. Mainly walk on Saturday mornings, outside if the weather permits, or in the mall if sidewalks are icy. We also have members who walk on Sundays or mornings during the week. Anyone is welcome to join, we offer training tips on technique, clothing, cross-training, nutrition. We have had participants from their 20s through early 80s complete a marathon with us and welcome any fitness level. Our walks are generally at a fitness pace, although we sometimes have other events at a more moderate pace.
