1 of 6 women are the victims of an attempted of completed rape or sexual abuse in their lifetime. On October, 2017 Alyssa Milano suggested by a friend did something that struck her as a way to elevate the Harvey Weinstein conversation, she took the idea to Twitter posting "if you've been sexually harassed or assaulted write 'me too' as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem " As a reply of this tweet 53,000 people over night had left comments and over 4.7 million people in 12 million posts during the first 24 hours. Thousands of women had declared "Me Too," sharing their stories of rape, sexual assault and harassment across social media including some for the first time. https://twitter.com/alyssa_milano/status/919659438700670976?lang=en

Sexual harassment has become a much needed topic of conversation, if you are in social media, the news or occasionally browse the web, you probably have heard of the Metoo.

This is why I’m creating this group because it was hard for me to find support & referrals, I’m one of you, i'm not a therapist, i just want to make it easier for you to find the support & referrals you need. This is just our beginning……..

Here we won’t be judged or blamed by people who think it’s our fault we were sexually assaulted, rape or molested, just because they assumed we asked for it because we might have a friendly personality, they might think we are flirting or is it because of the way we dress, and carry our self.

“NO, NO one has a right to sexually abuse us rape or molest us, ever. Our body is a temple ”And we should always be respected no matter what.

Metoo I was sexually molested as early as the age of five and as a teenager. I know what it is like to be blamed, I know what if feels like to be judge, and I know what is like not to be heard, believed and especially not supported. Being sexually assaulted it’s a topic no one wants to talk about. I know what is like to struggle, knowing that it was not my fault, that’s why me Metoo is essential for the World. Sexual abuse is such a taboo topic that no one wanted to talk about before ,until now, this is our time, that why this movement is so empowering & essential to the World. The time has come for us to come together and speak out and not be afraid of having a voice.. "Next step, is healing"

In the wake of Harvey Weinstain sexual abuse scandal it has been impossible to avoid the #Metoo hashtags This recent horrible exposure has brought to the light how men in power positions misuse their rank to ask for sexual favors Numerous Leasing actresses from Ashley Judd to Angelina Joly Have accused the producer of Of sexual assault and attempt of rape.
