Is self-awareness just the first step of a longer spiritual journey? How can being part of a supportive community help us heal and grow and see beyond just our needs?

No man (or woman!) is an island. We do not grow well in isolation. It's the challenges and beauty of being connected to others that helps us to grow and flourish.

Please join us for a lively discussion on the spiritual perspective offered by the Baha'i teachings on how practicing selflessness and incorporating service to others is one of the greatest forms of self-care. Together we will explore how finding inner peace and spiritually reconnecting can leave us recharged and refreshed to serve the world around us.

"We cannot segregate the human heart from the environment outside us and say that once one of these is reformed everything will be improved. Man is organic with the world. His inner life molds the environment and is itself also deeply affected by it. The one acts upon the other and every abiding change in the life of man is the result of these mutual reactions."
