Hike Tai Mo Shan and finish at Green Fresh, 11:00 Sun 19 Feb

Dear all,

It is a pleasure to invite you to this Hike and Eat meetup:

We will be Hiking up Hong Kong's highest peak, Tai Mo Shan (957m Elevation). The meeting point will be Tai Po Market MTR Station, exit A1 at 11:00 AM Sunday 19th February. I will be there from 10:45 to welcome attendees. We will start walking from the MTR exit at 11:15 as the start of the hike.

Hike details:

• Distance, 16km.

• Total Elevation Gained, 1100m.

• Estimated Hike Duration, 4 - 5 hours.

• Please bring water and all of your own supplies for the hike.

• We will be Hiking through Tai MO Shan National Park, via Tai Mo Shan and down into Tsuen Wan where we will be finishing at Green Fresh Vegan Restaurant (in between Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West MTR Stations).

Upon arrival to Green Fresh it will be self order/self pay. The restaurant is entirely vegan (as the name suggests). The estimated cost per person is approx $130. Here is Green Fresh's facebook:

A weather check will be made at 8 AM on the Sunday of the hike. Attendees are requested to check meetup.com then for event confirmation or at the prospect of heavy rain / storms, cancellation.

Spaces on this event are limited with a wait list in operation. We politely request editing RSVP to 'No' asap by anyone unable to attend who previously RSVPs 'Yes' to this event.

To help focus on RSVP status, anyone who 'no shows' against a 'Yes' RSVP will regrettably be banned for 1 month from the group.
