Join the Medellin Guru staff, readers and friends for food and drinks at Mercado de Sabaneta in Sabaneta at 6 pm on Tuesday, September 17.

Mercado de Sabaneta is a new gastronomic market in Sabaneta that opened in July 2019 near the popular Parque Sabaneta. And it has about 15 restaurants and bars.

Food options include arepas, traditional Colombian, gourmet hotdogs, pizza, steaks, sushi and much more. So, we’ll have a big selection of food options available.

This is a large venue with space for over 250 people. And it has high tables to make it easier to mingle.

Mercado de Sabaneta is located a block from popular Parque Sabaneta. And it's a short minimum fare (5,500 peso) taxi ride from the Sabaneta metro station. It's located at Calle 70 Sur # 43A-47, Sabaneta.

So far we have confirmed the following experts will attend our meetup in September:

• Health Insurance Questions: insurance broker Angela Berrio will be at our meetup and can answer health insurance questions.
• Legal Questions: Lawyers from the Cuadro Legal law firm will be there and can answer questions about many legal topics.
• Dental Questions: the dental company International Smiles will be there to answer dental questions.
• Real Estate Questions: Joseph Sexton and staff from the local real estate company Welcome to Medellin Realty will be there and can answer real estate questions.
• U.S. Veteran Questions: Veteran’s Service Officer (VSO) Danilo Bryan will be at the meetup and can help U.S. veterans with healthcare issues such as filing claims.

Also, we invited other experts who can other expat questions. So, we expect to have additional experts at our September meetup.
