    What we're about

Connecting media, entertainment, music, games and technology professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators and creatives. This is a group which brings together media-tech (media and entertainment tech) and creative-tech startups in Sydney into the one place. The group and events are designed to allow members the opportunity to share experiences, network and support one another. Whether you're an entrepreneur, intrapreneur or just an interested individual, do come and join us at one of our upcoming events!

This group is about exploring mediatech and creative-tech startups and how technology is shaping and changing the media and entertainment(M&E), games and creative industries in Australia and globally. It’s also about exploring the opportunities for content makers, creatives, entrepreneurs and technologists who have previously only focused on their own industry. We'll investigate how skills and ideas can be applied and adapted across other industries.

As a group, we also want to be able to facilitate connections between research, innovation, industry and business with the underlying aim of fostering and supporting startup activity in the media, entertainment, games and creatives industries.

And yes - if your business has a web or tech component, that means you're included in the definition of 'tech' :) Industries covered might include: media, entertainment, gaming, music, advertising, brand management, marketing, PR, technology, IT, film, television, social media, media research, finance, venture capital and more.
