What we're about

Live-streamed classes from Kadampa Meditation Center in Ballard are open to everyone in the Seattle metropolitan area.

This class is for people interested in meditation and Buddhism. Most classes provide a mix of meditation and explanation of how to use Buddha's teachings to improve our lives. We all have the ability to break free of limitations that are holding us back and experience the spaciousness and joy that come from a calm and positive mind. Learn how to nurture this ability that will give us the freedom and power to change our life for the better.

The New Kadampa Tradition is a western Buddhist tradition founded by meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. The teachings, rooted in Mahayana Buddhism, are presented in a way that is accessible and applicable to modern people. This class is a branch of the Kadampa Meditation Center in Seattle.
