These classes are designed to give you an experience of meditation, and improve the quality of your life by learning new ways of thinking to create space for inner peace. Enjoy practical instruction and guided meditation. Beginners welcome. Weekly class $15 Current series: Dealing with Stress and Anxiety Stress, anxiety, worry. Whatever we call it, we could all do without it. Our stresses, anxieties and worries do not come from the situations we encounter and the people we have to deal with, but as a result of our relating to these things in unhelpful ways. In this course, uncover some of the negative mental habits that lie at the root of these painful and exhausting states of mind and learn ways to overcome them. November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Class Dates: November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Future series: Taking Suffering and Giving Happiness Want to conclude this challenging year in a meaningful way? Enter into the magical meditative practices of taking suffering and giving happiness, and grow your potential to be of profound benefit to everyone around you Class Dates: December 7 Our weekly drop-in classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Each class includes two guided meditations, a talk on a practical aspect of Buddhism or meditation (see topics below), and time for questions. There is no need to attend every class, just drop-in when you have the time. Everybody welcome. For more info: www.meditateinauckland.org Don't worry about the number of people you see are attending.
