What we're about

During the Covid-19 pandemic we have switched our classes to be online. Whilst it is sad that we can't meet in person, this does mean we can reach out to many more people in the Okanagan and Shuswap areas. Wherever you live you can attend our meditations on Zoom! And whatever your schedule, you can find a class that suits you at any time of the day, without having to travel anywhere!

Everyone throughout the Okanagan and Shuswap is welcome to our weekly meditation classes, retreats, weekend courses and more.

Happiness is important. It’s important for our physical, spiritual and mental wellbeing. But what is the secret to happiness? How can we find the peace, contentment and mental equilibrium that contribute to our daily happiness?

Buddha explained that being happy is all about mental attitude, not what we have or what we do. Everyone has the potential for deep and lasting happiness, and here is our chance to discover it.

In this course we will explore through meditation and mindfulness 4 simple attitudes that will bring us the happiness that we are all, in our heart of hearts, seeking.

You are welcome to attend the whole series, or just drop in for one class.

Gen Delek will grant the blessing empowerment of the female Buddha Prajnaparamita, give a commentary and guide a meditation on the practice.
Nothing is more important than increasing our wisdom. Wisdom is a virtuous intelligent mind whose function is to dispel the inner darkness of ignorance. All our suffering and all our problems come from our ignorance.
Now is the time to abandon ignorance permanently, while we have this precious opportunity to listen to and to practise Buddhadharma ( Buddha's teachings). The only method to abandon our ignorance and attain the supreme happiness of enlightment is to accomplish the realization of the perfection of wisdom in general and especially the realization of the higher perfection of wisdom. We can do both of these things in this pricelss, precious course.
