Munich's first weekly English Stand Up Comedy Club! :)
Welcome to Medium Rare Comedy Club.
Here we love jokes and obsess over the art of Stand Up Comedy. Local Comics, old and new, get on stage with the sole intention of making you laugh.
We celebrate jokes,the good, the bad and ugly ones, and the main goal for the evening is to have a great time! It's a relatively friendly crowd and great place to have a drink later with locals and expats from all over the world.
How does a particular open mic night look-like?
- Doors open at 18:30
- Reservations are valid til 19:00
- Show begins at 19:30
- Smoke/Pee Break at around 20:30
- Last joke at around 21:30
When and where?
- Tuesday night (Open Mic night) at Buena Vista bar
We will also be getting international touring comedians to our little comedy club. "Medium Rare Presents" is a show dedicated for that.
If you are interested in getting on stage and doing stand up, just write to us and we will announce the line-up two days before the event.

On The Spot • Improvised Comedy with Mustafa Algiyadi
Eine-Welt-Haus, Schwanthalerstr. 80 Rgb., 80336 München, Raum 211/212, München, DEFor one full hour, I will be on stage with no prepared material and no idea what’s coming next. The show is built entirely through interacting with the audience.
Beyond the "What Is Your Name? What Do You Do for a Living? I will be giving advice on problems and questions that you have written and pulled from a hat and solved live with unsolicited advice.
This could be the most fun night of your life. It could also be a disaster.
Either way, isn’t that the function of art? Art is a risk. Think of it like visiting a modern art museum, except you’re part of the exhibit.

### About Me:
Mustafa is the co-founder of Munich’s first weekly and longest-running English Stand-Up Comedy Club. He has a rich background in improv theatre, trained at the renowned Second City in Chicago, which adds a unique spontaneity to his performances.
Mustafa previewed "Almost Legal Alien" in London at the Museum of Comedy, further establishing his presence on the international comedy circuit. He has given tour support to comedy legends like Reggie Watts and Todd Barry, and he runs the English night at the comedy club of Germany’s acclaimed comedian, Michael Mittermeier. In 2023, Mustafa performed to over 12,600 people across Europe.
His recent debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024 was a resounding success, with 25 performances that earned him a spot in the critically acclaimed "Top Jokes of the Edinburgh Fringe 2024" as featured in The Times and Edinburgh Evening News. He has also been featured in The Guardian, Sunday Post, and The Scotsman, and was highlighted as one of the top debuts to watch at the Edinburgh Fringe by The List UKand Edinburgh Evening News and performed at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London.

A Dragon and a Comedian Walk into a Dungeon

Step into the hilariously unpredictable world of "A Dragon and a Comedian Walk into a Dungeon"—where the rules of Dungeons & Dragons collide with the chaos of improv comedy! Guided by a mischievous Dungeon Master, three quick-witted comedians face bizarre challenges, absurd characters, and dice rolls that could either save the day or doom them hilariously.
Whether you’re a die-hard D&D fan or just love a good laugh, this show invites you to join the adventure. No maps. No mercy. Just pure, uncharted chaos in a realm where dragons are wisecracking and comedians are always just one critical fail away from disaster. Perfect for those who like their fantasy epic and their comedy wildly unpredictable!
🎲 Bonus Adventure: Play After the Show!
After the main show wraps up with laughter and chaos, the night continues with an optional two-hour Dungeons & Dragons experience! Audience members can grab a separate ticket to join a real D&D session at designated tables, guided by skilled Dungeon Masters.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or a curious beginner, you’ll get to step into your own mini campaign right there in the venue.
This is a social event meant to get to know new players and socialise. The tables will be assigned randomly.

Colleagues: The Corporate Comedy Show
International Munich ArtLAB (iMAL Musiktheater), Hans-Preißinger-Straße 8, 81379 München, Munich, DECOLLEAGUES is an improvised comedy show inspired by modern work culture and the everyday language of office life.
A team of comedians takes inspiration from the room to create scenes, meetings, and moments that feel uncomfortably familiar: enthusiastic presentations, strategic conversations, workplace dynamics, and decisions that somehow lead nowhere.
As the evening unfolds, patterns emerge, priorities shift, and a certain organisational logic begins to take over, whether anyone planned it or not.
What starts with good intentions may end very differently.
Every show is shaped by the people in the room, and no two nights are the same.
