About us
What we’re about... Let’s have fun playing games!
This group is for all levels of gamers (including beginners) to learn and play games together. All types of tabletop, board and card games are welcome.
Our meetups are held at Meeple Movers Board Game Café. We have gaming tables and an open library of over 300 games to choose from. Regular board game nights are scheduled often, as well as sessions to learn how to play certain games, trivia, art days and other fun events. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay connected to our events. Please take a moment to review all info below.
We encourage you to RSVP on our website. Purchasing a ticket is encouraged to guarantee your seat, but not required. You are welcome to play games in the store any time during our hours of operation. You can check our website for an explanation of how things work, and to look for special events. You can also reserve a table for your group if you prefer. We have staff on hand to introduce you to other players and the games (we’ll teach!). We want you to have a great time!
Notes about meetup: Unfortunately, due to the number of fake accounts, we require approval for all new members. We really want you to join though, so sign up, answer any questions and we'll get you added ASAP!

Learn/Play War of Whisperers with Jeff at Meeple Movers Board Game Cafe
3101 SW 34th Ave #803, Ocala, FL, USPull the strings, shift the tides, and rule from the shadows in War of Whisperers.
Join Jeff to learn A War of Whisperers, a competitive board game of hidden agendas and political manipulation. Instead of controlling a massive army, you take on the role of a secret society pulling the strings from the shadows, manipulating five warring factions to ensure your secretly chosen empires dominate the board.Jeff will walk you through the core mechanics, showing you how to deploy agents, command empire troops, and cleverly swap your loyalties when the tides of war inevitably change.
Note: this game is not for beginners, you should have some knowledge of board game mechanics and experience. Jeff is an excellent teacher and you'll really enjoy this awesome game!
What's it about: You are the puppet master lurking in the shadows, pulling the political strings of war. While five mighty empires clash on the battlefield, you manipulate their leaders, influence their borders, and bet on their fates. In A War of Whispers, your goal is not to lead a single nation to victory, but to position yourself wisely, and manipulate your strategy to that the world ends exactly as you predicted it would.
Seating is limited - save your spot here: https://www.meeplemovers.com/event/learn-play-war-of-whisperers-with-jeff-11-15-2026-811/register
